1. The performance and use of mica plate
Mica boards include soft mica plates, molded mica plates, commutator mica plates and gasket mica plates, etc., which are mainly made of laminated sheets of mica or powder mica paper by binders and baked. The soft mica plate is flexible under normal conditions, bending arbitrarily without breaking. Molded mica plate is a hard plate-like material at room temperature, which becomes soft when heated, and can be molded into insulating components of different shapes by continuing to heat and pressurize. The commutator mica plate is mainly used as an insulating gasket between the commutating copper sheets in the DC motor, which requires uniform thickness, high compactness, small layer rise rate, and small shrinkage rate under high temperature and high pressure. The commutator mica plate generally uses phlogopite, which has less hardness than muscovite and the wear is comparable to copper. The liner mica plate has high mechanical strength, can withstand cutting, impact and other mechanical processing, without layering and splitting, and is suitable for insulating gaskets, gaskets, valve arrester parts of motors and electrical appliances.
2. The production process of mica plate
The production process of mica board generally includes several steps such as production preparation (adjusting the solid content of the glue), plastering, drying, pressing, repairing, inspection and packaging. Soft mica plates need to be strictly controlled at their baking temperature to maintain their softness, and all kinds of soft mica plates should not be stacked too thick, and should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated place. The drying time of the molded mica board should not be too long, and in order to ensure its plasticity, hot pressing molding is generally adopted. In order to make the mica plate have a high compactness and good integrity and prevent the occurrence of phenomena such as flow glue and sliding vanes, the commutator mica plate needs to be pressed twice, and the mica plate after the first compression should be machined and then pressed for the second time. The production process of liner mica plate is basically the same as that of commutator mica plate, but because it is generally a thick specification product, it requires a long pressing time and high preheating and hot pressing temperatures.
