What is synthetic mica tape?

Synthetic mica is an artificial mica with large size and complete crystal form synthesized by replacing hydroxyl groups with fluoride ions under atmospheric pressure conditions. Synthetic mica tape is mica paper made of synthetic mica as the main material, and then the glass cloth is pasted on one or both sides with an adhesive. The glass cloth attached to one side of mica paper is called "single-sided tape", and the two-sided tape is called "double-sided tape". During the manufacturing process, several structural layers are glued together, then dried, then rolled up, and then cut into different specifications of tape.

Double-sided synthetic mica tape: a kind of fire-resistant wire and cable made of synthetic mica paper as the base material, glass fiber cloth as the double-sided reinforcement material, and bonded with silicone resin adhesive. Ideal material of choice. It has the best fire resistance and is recommended for key projects.

2. Single-sided synthetic mica tape: synthetic mica paper is used as the base material and glass fiber cloth is used as the single-sided reinforcement material. It is the most ideal material for manufacturing fire-resistant wire and cable. Good fire resistance, recommended for key projects
